Does the "SPD intermediates" mean film produced for other manufacturers?

Gauzy is going to add an LC coating line in 2024 in Stuttgart plant.
Suggests a healthy demand for their combination LCG to me:-).

Fwiw per roadshow, Gauzy is going to add an LC coating line in 2024 in Stuttgart plant.
A web of confusion that needs to be addressed here. According to their prospectus sec 125, they currently use 25% of the Tel Aviv LC production coating line and are planning to add another line there. So, unless they're expecting an explosion of LC sales why install an LC line in Germany as well? The confusion may be in untangling the synthesis line from the production coating line. Just don't know.

Did they change plans for Tel Aviv and decided to move to Germany in the short time from filing of the F-1 to the roadshow presentation?

Also according to sec 116 of the F-1, they are developing an EC program to become a one stop shop of all three light control technologies. So, I guess that is how they are replying to Ambilight.

Additionally, we went from the original estimated 1 million square meters of SPD production in 2019 facility ceremony to the current 600,000 square meters of production, and finally able to synthesize only 100,000 square meters of coating material "recently". So, Gauzy had no way of mass production of SPD film in the first five years to accommodate numerous OEMs or even think about mid-size models. As well it looks like it took at least one and a half years to possibly two and a half years to just get most of the glitches out of the production line.

Now with a potential of 360,000 sq/m2 of LC and 600,000 sq/m2 of SPD along with also developing a Black spd particle emulsion and the ADAS division, that's a lot on the table for Gauzy. Good Luck to them. Can understand the need for capital infusion asap.
