Frank,

I just finished reading the news release.

Needless to say, I am saddened and concerned
about the events. Both from a shareholder
point of view AND as a computer geek who was
really looking forward to installing the Meta6000
in my computer in 1998.

I hope that sometime in the not-too-distant future
we'll be informed about all the details leading up
to the present situation.

I realize also, that this is probably a rough time
for you and many of your friends and co-workers at IMS.
I know well the gut-wrenching decisions that have
to be made by employees and families involved in
major corporate restructuring during troubled times.

Please know that I'm wishing everyone in the IMS
organization every success in the future.

Hang in there, Frank!

Regards,
jimpit
