Then your question was highly misleading... I answered the question as plainly as you asked it, very simply and in only a few words... Nothing I said can be refuted, but you openly implied that my answer was not correct, not even close... Frankly, you didn't answer your own initial question, instead you went into a lengthy history of the region... Your question didn't ask anything about the lengthy history of that region or it would have been addressed... While your explanation was likely factual, it didn't address the simplicity of your initial question... Was the initial question supposed to be a trick question??? If you were asking for a lengthy history of the region, then say so and your question could have been more specific... To fit your lengthy explanation, then here's the question you should have posed: What are some of the specific historic reasons Russia invaded Ukraine??? And not: Why did Russia invade Ukraine? GZ
