That figure is probably about right IMHO. A few more purchases, I suspect, wouldn't have made too much difference. I feel that an honest appraisal of the Issuer Bid might well conclude that it had little effect on the shorters, given we now see a reduction in Canada being quickly made up in the USA. Elsewhere: We might take a little encouragement from Insti Holdings having risen from 0.7% of the float to about 0.95% over the last half-year or so.. Miniscule, but at least going in the right direction.
