"...suggests future sales of the games mentioned will increase, or at
least remain very strong into the future."

I say, THQ makes zilch on rentals, ZILCH! Fact is, once it's in the heavy rental stage, the game's deep into the Atari phase, in product-life-speak. They never come back from rentals to generate major revenues. Unless they're Members Only jackets. Or Bee Gee's records. Hey, maybe THQ will be a good 2nd life buy in 2018 ! Lemme put that on my Lotus Organizer calendar.

Anyone willing to offer a scenario where THQ tops PAX and WCW vs NWO sales by 25% in 1998? ....uh...I mean, that's what the P/E is suggesting, right? Does anyone REALLY anticipate 20% revenue growth in '98? lol. see ya's at $12. I see FLAT REVENUES in '98 ...if ya's lucky.

In 1998, the youth of America will find BOOKS and THE LORD! And a resurgence of MARIJUANA! The hell with this video game crap.

I checked with the Nintendo website for Gameboy titles, and it shows that SunSoft, not THQ, is publishing Maui Mallard: Cold Shadow. Apparently the woman at Nintendo America with whom I spoke was misinformed. Either that, or Nintendo's website is incorrect.

For late in 1998, THQ is planning to publish 2 previously unannounced games for the Gameboy: Yoda Stories and Small Soldiers. THQ also plans to re-release Aladdin, Jungle Book, Lion King and Taz-Mania. I suppose that means there is more demand for these titles. If this information is correct, then THQ still has at least 1 more GB title to announce for 1998 release.

Jeff -- thanks for the plug -- I haven't been in Africa recently -- but haven't been able to post much because I have been keeping up a hectic travel schedule (all business). I am still holding all the THQ I bought in the $7 to $8 range - and see the stock trading at $40 to $45 by the end of the year. We should easily do better than a buck for FY97 earnings and the stock could well trade up towards $30 in the near term. Of course nothing I'm posting is new -- the longs figured this out a while ago -- with the help of Hainesda -- the asundry of Todd's and others -- my thanks to everyone who helped keep me sane during the dog days of the secondary -- I'm still long and still a bull on THQ -- thanks again for the plug -- I'll be able to post actively again now that I'm off the road (at least until the book tour starts)<GG>
