'it's all a conspiracy against little ol' me!' Maddow says it's a conspiracy against authority and expertise from anybody except Dear Leader. I'm inclined to agree, and I also would put institutions on the list. Rachel Maddow uses examples from Dr. Anthony Fauci's new book and the fact that Trump Republicans are still busy trying to persecute Fauci despite his heroic role in navigating deadly pandemics to illustrate the authoritarian bent of the Republican Party in the Trump era that cannot accept a voice of authority or expertise that outshines their leader.
