If climate change is not a concern like Trump says, why are industries all over the world, working to develop new methods to reduce carbon emissions?

Just judging how much hotter this year is than any previous recorded year, I suspect we may already be too late.

Eventually, it's a self limiting problem though. Once enough of us have died off, we'll be emitting way less carbon.
