Thanks for the note on Sequoia's SEC Filings. Technically, Sequoia is no longer an insider and all of their shares should be added to the float. However, I believe my source for Institutional Sponsorship is not including Sequoia's holdings yet, so I'll just add 2.6 M (+0.2 M on Chief Yahoo Yang's selling) to the float for now.

I am no longer bullish on YHOO. Small bit insider selling (even when they are selling 100% of their portfolio) doesn't really bother me. But this Sequoia deal is a little different.

Back about a 1,000 posts, I was suggesting that Sequoia would start unloading given the age of their fund, but I was just being facetious.
The fact that it is really occurring is a bit troublesome--6M to 3.6M shares is quite a drop--are their partners getting better returns elsewhere????
