INDEX UPDATE
-----------------------

The DOW index is definitely overbought, and a CLASS 1 SELL. Now do you think I am going to play PUTS now - forget it, at least for tomorrow. I dont need to get run over by a freight train to give me a hint.

Now heres the surprising thing, the NAZ indexes are not overbought. What many do not realise is that the NAZ yesterday came down 20 points off its highs and actually sent the short-term technicals into the upper part of the mid-range. It can now go up more easily in this market.

Here are the indexes which are not in the overbought region per my short-term technicals:

XCI - COMPUTERS
EGI - EMERGING GROWTH
YTK - YEAR 2000
XOI - OILS
OSX - OIL DRILLERS
IIX - INTERNET
CWX - SOFTWARE
XAL - AIRLINES
TRX - TRANSPORTATION
PNX - PHONE

The indexes which are in the lower mid range are:
OSX
XCI - SURPRISINGLY
YTK

Ok, heres my question, which sectors would you pick. I would pick the YTK, EGI, XCI, IIX.

Seeya
