Pancho, A good book for TA is "Trading For a Living" by my good friend Dr. Alex Elder. elder.com to order the book. This book is all you need, easy to read and if you have any questions Alex answers his e-mail personally. The best charting program is free and updated on the net. Go to this site and download the program. Some technical problems exist now during development but they are being corrected. Also included is minute charts. I have been teaching TA for years and my experience has been that the simple things work the best. 50 day moving average, 100 day mov avg, MACD and moving average difference.
