Just so you guys aren't thrown...this Q we are shedding some Baggage. $140 Million worth of loss on our EPS, or about $2.50 in losses per share. From last years filed 10Q, SEC March 31, 1997...

"The information is presented to facilitate meaningful comparisons to on-going operations and to other companies. The unaudited pro forma amounts above do not include the value of the $90.6 million and $140.0 million of purchased research and development arising from the Servantis Acquisition in 1996 and the ISC Acquisition in 1997, respectively. The unaudited pro forma information is not necessarily indicative of the actual results of operations had the transaction occurred at the beginning of the earliest period presented, nor should it be used to project the Company's results of operations for any future periods."

We are not buying ISC again, we own it...just a thought....

Read your (and Pat) discussion in newsletter section, very interesting, well-written, except missing one piece: what can go wrong.

My philosophy is: if you can't see both side of the coin, you must be (or will) doing something wrong. Same case with CKFR here and same problem exist in most threads on SI. Negative opinions mostly are not welcome here(grasshopper, nice try... LOL).

I started reading this thread couple of days ago by accident (there, just shows how much I know about e-commerce). Some postings are nice, especially one asking (politely) what makes the current price of CKFR. I think you responded by saying something like nobody knows (it bets on the future). As you said, speculations moved the stock from 10 to 20, to 30 and the same force can go the other way...

Very interesting stock, strong support at 20.. now sitting on 200MA. I'll keep watching and being educated. Hopefully, someone will mention possible negatives so I know what could go wrong (how big are MSFDC, or Intuit, or earnings factors? How are the management? Does that mean management is not good when somebody suggested you be the head of marketing? LOL)

Just some thoughts, after couple of beers.

Cheers.

W.

P.S. Weird thought--> CKFR has lots strong buys (almost all??). So does that mean it can go nowhere but down? Well, of course we can always have new blood which might counter the old ones if they opt going bad. Hmmmmm
