It is rather remarkable how they don't say that anyone would be better than Trump after his blizzard of lies and exaggerations and evasive "answers" to questions. He has succeeded in normalizing his psychopathic behavior. Biden had a bad night, but he has assembled a competent team and has exhibited the knowledge and experience to run that team and handle the job. People are in fact electing a team of people to run the government not an individual. No individual could possibly run a government as complex as the US. Trump's "only the best" team was proven to be incompetent or even criminal in some cases. At best, they resigned or were fired because they wouldn't go along with his stupid policies.

re:
One more thing about the debate … Isn’t it fascinating how the popular press / major media, the ones Trump dislikes so much, outdo each other with negative Biden headlines while not highlighting / downplaying / accepting as “normal” Trump’s false statements?

the thing is, everyone expected trump to be exactly what he was.
a bombastic liar. no surprise there.

biden on the other hand, was expected to come out and show the
world that he was sharp and in control. very, very big surprise.

"one a never ending lying buffoon, the other in the throws of
inevitable decline - gg cox"

Chump is big money for nearly all media. The public either loves him or hates him. He is a national disaster that just keeps on giving to the entertainment executives that control most of what we experience on TV or social media. They are going to do whatever it takes to keep this bonanza flowing. The implications for the Country are not something they care about.
