To All: Re Tommy Bolt on Golf Channel
I was watching the Golfchannel last night (2/18) and they did a quick segment on Tommy Bolt. His claim to fame is winning the 1958 US Open and being a club thrower when he gets upset with himself.
He now works at the Black Diamond Resort. He said his job is to play a round of golf with prospective buyers at the resort.
He will be on Golf Talk Live next Monday 2/23 at 8 pm. Maybe one of us can get through live on the air and ask him about the March tournament.

Tony

Stephanie,

The financing they usually are able to obtain has a high price tag to the shareholder, because it usually is tied to stock of the company, and is often unrestricted. Even when it is restricted there are ways around that. That as we all know creates dilution and is often, not always, the beginning of the end.

Going public is also many times the only way for a BB company to raise the necessary funds to promote their idea. There are many BB's that, in my opinion, would be better off staying private until they are in a better financial position to be successful. The catch 22 is that the reason they go public is to raise the necessary cash. It is my opinion that the rules for the BB's are still way to loose, and if one is so inclined a license to steal from the unsuspecting shareholder.

This is my opinion about BB's in general, and certainly not ACCY in particular. That's also what makes these things so exciting to play, but I would never put food money into a BB.

Regards,

HG
