I forget when the market traded down

Interesting times now. Looking thru the various threads on SI... nobody can forsee a single down day ever happening again, never mind any type of significant correction.

All news is now perfect, any bad news is now ignored (HWP misses earnings, warns on Asia... goes up!... war with Iraq, Asian financial crisis, nearly full employment which will lead to wage inflation, etc.). Therefore, there is only one direction for the market...UP!

Look at the DELL thread. So much exeuberance, they figure Dell will grow at 90%+ per year for eternity. They figure the stock should do a double and split on a quarterly basis.

My puts will expire worthless tomorrow. But I'm stubborn and will probably reload. It's times like this when everyone thinks the market will only go up that maybe we'll get a crash back down to the 8300 level :)

Ole Warren now putting his money in metals... It's the billionaires who are smart enough to see the overvaluation. It's the masses who'll get screwed when (not if) the market corrects.
