Oh. Your statement that "in the long run the market heads higher" seemed to imply that this is an investment that would outperform across a full market cycle. I'm not confident in that, and the fund structure doesn't assure that - even if the market heads higher.

I agree that it will outperform in a bull market.

If I have to adjust due to market conditions, I'll adjust, and I expect I will have to do so at some point. It comes with the territory when looking for growth and market beating performance.

Are you going to use a stop loss or a moving average? Can I assume you are going to reconfigure your client's portfolio when you decide you no longer want to manage them? I would think it takes a lot of hand holding to steer these folks into these type investments or are they completely hands off?

Me thinks large cojones are a required attribute of your clients :)
