Exactly, like I just saw down at the local pond or an eel. I'm always curious what they might pull out. Seems like a good place to do a prank, like a big rubber snake and catch it on video.

I remember catching crayfish (crawdads) in a creek with my cousins as a child. We'd put our hands in the upper breathing hole (since the business end is facing the other way) and pull them out and put in our bucket. One time my oldest cousin reached into a hole and pulled out a large snapping turtle by the tail instead! That might have been the last time we did that activity!
