Wharfie, If Brandon was the kind of guy who wanted to take advantage of a free hand, Trump and some justices would be seeking shelter in the Russian embassy, and Rat would be voting for himself. Putting the "Dark" in dArK bRaNdOn, it seems. Like I said, the 6-3 Supreme Court messed up big time here. The "official act" condition of their ruling should have been spelled out much more clearly before anything else. The fact that they didn't showed that they wanted to err on the side of authoritarianism instead of the side of checks and balances. The dreaded "Project 2025" will now be revised to classify everything attempt to usurp power as "official acts." Tenchusatsu
