great article. i believe the article writer misses the trend that has occurred and will continue to occur in networking. csco, asnd, bay, cs, ... will purchase these startups and the technology once they have developed the technology. and these startups need the deep pockets to penetrate the large companies that their product is aimed at.

in the end the company will be the next csco, since csco will purchase the company.
