verisign deals with consumer to business; tradewave with business to business. vrsn loses cash; tradewave operates even now at breakeven. any new adds to tradewave -- see rboc -- are largely profit.

You are absolutely right. They completely lost the firewall game and nobody really believes that Tradewave will turn the company around and I doubt anybody is interested in acquiring what's left.
