Hey Ramsey, so you decided to get out of 'Asia Forum' for a while and venture into Dell-Land for a change,eh? Good move indeed. Don't pay no never mind to all the excitement here, I guess we just get this way during 'earnings-season'<gg>.Oh I will be back there soon,first let's see how Suharto's Indonesian style Currency Board is going to work. I guess when he says 'Indonesian style' probably that means -To 'peg' but not to 'anchor',eh? <gg> As for who is loosing PC 'biz' to whom, the talk 'around town' and around the 'water-cooler' is that the smaller players are loosing the market share to the 'big boys', you know the likes of Micron,Packard Bell,Acer et al,even Toshiba lost ground to CPQ i believe in 'note- book' Pcs.They say when everything is said and done there will only be a few players in this game 'planned obsolence'.In other words the 'buzz word' is 'consolidation'. Though the euphoria might be a bit similar occasionally around here during earnings time, DELL couldn't be farther from the likes of Iomega and WDC etc. The main difference being consistent 'Growth' or if you want more i can add attributes like 'Vision','Focus','Performance','Efficiency','innovation' etc etc,to the list. Lastly, I know there are people here who are much more informed than I when it comes to technology,Pc biz,and Dell in particular,the likes of Jim Kelly,Patrick,Paul Levy,Sig etc etc,and I am sure they would be able to answer any of your questions more thoroughly. Please do not hesitate to ask them if you have a particular question. Nice guys,they all are and well informed too.
