It contained a product specification sheet (11/97) with these words: "Valence Technology, Inc. has developed a new polymer lithium-ion battery system for use in portable electronic applications, including cellular phones and laptop computers. IT IS THE MOST TECHNICALLY ADVANCED BATTERY SYSTEM AVAILABLE." Remember the months in the 7's , 8's and 9's when we wished we had bought more in the 5's or $6's? Well, we now have another chance, but I believe it will be of short duration.. Production plans have now been publicly stated via press release - At last, the company has admitted that they are in the battery business! Regards, FMK
