The paradox of Brandonomics is that the stock market is making new highs this year. Inflation is nominally at 3.3%, and the job numbers are particularly strong.

Yet people trust Trump over Brandon to manage the economy.

I can explain that paradox with one phrase, "Wall Street's gain, Main Street's pain."

This was the exact phrase that the left used to downplay George W. Bush's economic achievements. Of course today they conveniently forgot about it, even though it has never ever been more applicable compared to any point in modern American history.

Anyway, I don't see anything that Trump can do which will reverse the imbalance.

In fact, if (when?) Trump wins in November and takes office in January, I expect the left to SUDDENLY remember that phrase again ... "Wall Street's gain, Main Street's pain."
