The point is they might somehow sneak in a profit here or there, but they still issue stock to keep the business afloat. Obviously there isn't any trend of earnings with this company. I have never gone through their income statements in enough detail to see if those "earnings" were mostly generated by interest from cash, or by some accounting delicacy. << In fact, admittedly injecting hype, CSCO trades at 17x sales. >> C$CO doesn't trade at 17x sales. They trade at about 9x sales. Either way I don't see your point.
