Investigators looking into the fraud said Michael de Guzman, who died last March 19 after falling from a helicopter over the Indonesian jungle, likely jumped because he faced being exposed. "Michael said he had fallen asleep in the bathtub (the night of March 18) after drinking an entire bottle of cough medicine," said Rudy Vega, a Bre-X employee in Indonesia. "It was my impression Michael had tried to commit suicide that night by drinking the bottle of cough medicine in hopes of falling asleep in the bathtub and drowning." Why didn't rudy vega state this at the time of de Guzmans' SUPPOSED death !!!???
