Federal tax revenue for the US was comprised of Individual tax revenue, 54%. Payroll tax, 30% Corporate tax 9%, other sources 7%

That has nothing to do with the left, center, right, it is a fact. That link was from the Tax Policy Center that is a nonpartisan think tank, or number crunchers.

"Corporations don't pay income taxes".

With all due respect, that is False! Corporations in the US pay income taxes. If you are a C Corp the corporation pays tax and the owners pay tax on the after tax income. If you are an LLC or LLP the corporation's income tax bill flows directly to the owners and they pay the tax. I owned several corporations for over 30 years and I paid taxes every year. If what you said was correct, someone owes me a few million dollars! As a good corporate and US citizen I proudly paid my taxes because it was this great country of ours that let me be successful and employ hundreds of people over the years.

"Besides, higher corporate taxes favor large corporations because they can absorb the cost. Smaller companies cannot"

Again not true or at best misleading. we were not a large corporation. We paid our taxes and still were competitive in our markets. It can be done. Larger corporations have bigger tax and legal departments and use every loophole to minimize their tax burden. That gets back to my statement of corporations paying their fair share. We did and I'm proud we did and contributed to the economy of this great country.
