I just transferred my IRA account from Schwab to Waterhouse two weeks
ago and I am already looking around for somewhere else to transfer my
account due to this "pending" problem.

One of my other complaints with Waterhouse (and Schwab) is that they time you out. It is really irritating to set up an order and watch
real time quotes until you are ready to place it only to be told your
session timed out when you finally hit the button! Of course with
Waterhouse you wouldn't want to do this since they consider their
customers idiots and force IRA buy orders to be approved by an account
representative.

I have other complaints about Waterhouse (Schwab, E-Trade, and
Ameritrade) but that's enough for now.

Thean, thanks for your experiences. Waterhouse offers so many nice perks--it's really too bad they can't better get their act together with executions and such. I suppose that when/until on-line trading makes up a larger portion of their revenue, addressing these issues may not be their top priority.
