I have found Ameritrade to have a very congenial attitude which I insist on when I am spending big bucks with a company. I just cancelled a competing service because they first stated they would margin stocks only over $5. Then I happened to initiate a trade swap on a 5 dollar same day stock . They said nothing until the night before they were demanding full cash settlement the next day. When I exploded they said it wasnt their job to inform me because things changed with the regulators. I have a different outlook so I removed an account from them that does 300 trades a year......I know they all have their growing pains and I can suffer thru that because I know what will be available on the other side of the mountain. But I wont tolerate a beligerent attitude now or ever....Gil
