Trimming: Today is a day that serves as an example of why we trim stocks when we do. I wish I would have trimmed even more of course, but I try to do everything in an orderly fashion. You never know when/why weakness is going to hit and even with an ultra strong stock like NVDA, the tide can still turn and opportunities for lower price(s) exist. Many seem to forget that if you trim a holding, it doesn't mean you can't add it back later. Sure there could be wash sale considerations but thinking beyond 30 days is important.

There's a clear rotation going on right now into small cap and large cap dividend stocks. Makes perfect sense with many analysts looking for a 5%-10% summer correction. In fact, dare I say they may be trying to orchestrate one to create some value ahead earnings season, which starts in earnest next week.

Really wishing I had trusted my gut on the small cap rotation and picked up some TNA in the mid $30s as I had mentioned. In any event, glad I trimmed some of my big gainers so now I'll sit back and wait for new entries or maybe the possibility of trimming more. I've been in a rotation myself of selling the tech runners and picking up large cap dividend and value dividend plays

Those are my thoughts too about CMG. I am a believer in the company and the stock. Waiting to see if this market downturn continues and I'll be looking at picking some shares up around $50.

As inflation continues to come down and people feel better off financially in the coming months, I see CMG benefiting from that as the 'healthier' alternative to traditional burger and taco joints.

CMG was a leader in pushing digital sales when other fast food places either didn't have apps at all or they weren't as sophisticated. Other restaurants have caught up with their apps, but Chipotle's is still easier to use, less confusing, and better designed than most. I'm not a teenager anymore and rarely eat fast food these days, but I do check out how good their apps are.
