I second knight's analysis of this but would perhaps be even stricter in expressing concern. When I first heard of the potential conflict of interest I started asking a few questions. Over the course of a month I started getting a bit concerned so I communicated my concern to the company and have spoken to several people on the matter. Clearly I would prefer that the situation did not exist but in and of itself it is not a problem as long as the individual in question is in no way involved in discussions with Johnson-Lett and is not privy to or involved with the information that will be used to make the decision as to whether or not to exercise the option on the Johson-Lett process. I have been assured that everyone involved is aware of the potential conflict and that it won't be allowed to become an issue. But imho it never hurts for shareholders to let management of THEIR company know when they have such concerns. An active investor is an informed investor.
