> If you do decided to go with say Edge, plan to spend a few hours/days going through all the settings and semi hidden settings, the problem with those settings, most of us don't know what the heck we are looking at and how to turn off the data transmission from Edge to MS.

That is why I quit using Edge on my Mac. After reading a bit about Microsoft and how they suck up your data into their cloud from both Edge and Windows I stopped using Edge and deleted it. Nor do I have any interesting in running Windows 10 or 11 in a virtual machine for the same reason.

I use Firefox to browse SI and look at investment info, and Safari for other browsing.

I also keep copies of Vivaldi, DuckDuckGo, and iCab (for Macs only) as browsers I check out occasionally.

I kicked Google Chrome to the curb several years ago and will never use it again.

I have problems with FF's ad blocker a lot, and have to completely disable it on certain websites. It also blocks me from being able to print from my email, so I have to go to my email acct in Edge in order to print things. So it's buggy, and maybe I should uninstall and reinstall it, but honestly that's my biggest complaint?

I have no idea what kind of ad blockers MSN offers to Edge users? And like you, I've been using FF for yrs, and have thought on and off about trying out Edge. It's the default browser that came with my new laptop...which does say something...and I've never really tried to learn how to use Edge.

ublock origin

Is that a FF extension?
