Oh so Braindead Covington is gonna be fine for some apps

Don't you REMEMBER what was said on this thread about the Cyrix Media GX, also cacheless? It was a 586 according to you guys. But now Intel, master of the universe, announces its own lookalike Braindead CPU with that EXPENSIVE Slot One motherboard and all is well. Smooth sailing toward a painless PII future.

Do you really think people are stupid enough to buy this Braindead product when they can get a K6-233 for a lower total CPU and motherboard price and Intel itself views the Braindead CPU as dead on arrival? (we have the real product back here in the development queue, uh its not quite ready yet uh we didn't really think the sub $1K market would fly uh...)

Tony,
RE:<<..., I wouldn't touch AMD or Cyrix products with a ten foot pole, or two five foot Lithuanians. Apologies in advance to Poles and Lithuanians, but those two wannabees (AMD and Cyrix) have serious production problems...>>

Oh, you are so funny! I can't stop laughing! It also helps that our stock is up 4 points. I don't think that Paul F. can be saved, but we have tried.
