I'm surprised an announcement hasn't been made, patents are the insurance which protects intellectual property and requires others to deal with you to utilize it. Possible some dealings are currently on going. On the other hand, a Patent Pending was in place since the application was filed so industry was in the know. You asked: "Is anyone here qualified to comment on its worth?" Not me! However, I would also ask how this applies to ADSL DMT protocols and Aware's ability to compete with AMTX and others.
