Rarebird,
But once the public recognizes that Harris is an even worse candidate than Biden, the rout will be on.
There is an opening here, one that the Republicans will want to cover.

And that is the question of abortion and "reproductive rights."

Trump is trying to avoid the question, even though the issue of abortion is right in the center of the new GOP's "anti-woke" social agenda.

From the overturning of Roe v. Wade to Project 2025, the GOP owns the abolition position, even though it is deeply unpopular among most Americans, especially independents.

IF (and this is a BIG IF) Brandon decides to step down, and IF (again, a really BIG IF) Brenda takes over, then she has only one path toward victory.

And that is to focus solely on "reproductive rights," because that is the one issue that Brenda doesn't fail on.

If she does that competently (one more time, a GIGANTIC IF), she can cause a schism in the GOP.
