Seems the smart thing to have done is to roll it out in stages, perhaps to places that have the fewest servers relaying on CS services. The smartest thing to have been done would have been to a proper test on the software before releasing it... In that vein, I have seen many times manufacturers releasing software that control very expensive and mission critical machines where certain common functions had severe bugs making the whole machine unusable (thus needing to revert back to old software) - what were they thinking????
