Don't just look at LU's PE. How can past earnings factor in the thousands of patents that LU holds? The market is always forward looking, I mean LU should trade at parity with CSCO in terms of market sentiment, was not referring to PEs so I should not have used the price example ... but I've been eyeballing price movements for months that way FWIW.

CSCO may be able to support a higher PE, but the market has to get beyonds Chamber's obligatory warning that in subsequent quarters CSCO may not meet. Market is trying to decide if near-term uncertainty is worth the risk for long-term potential when there are other vehicles that offer a better risk reward ratio. Technically CSCO is trying to breakout, but the blocks are not rushing to push it over. Maybe for third Q window dressing.
