Brumar, there's actually some bad news mixed in with that report:
Combat in Krynky lasted for months, with Russian forces finally overwhelming Ukrainian marines following an enlistement boost.
This is actually the foothold that Ukrainian marines held across the Dnipro river from Kherson, known as the "Left Bank," or eastern bank.

Ukraine finally withdrew from that foothold, which means that RuZZia finally eliminated the threat from that direction.

It's a sign that Ukraine has no intentions of launching any new offensives in the next 6-12 months. Theoretically they could have used that foothold in Krynky to spearhead a new offensive toward the border of Crimea, but I'm guessing that's no longer even a possibility.

Ukraine now has to remain on the defensive from now until RuZZia runs out of troops, tanks, or something.

Maybe one of these days, NATO will stop sitting on her hands and will come up with a real strategy for finally beating RuZZia.

Until then, PooTin now has his "forever war," which of course will sink RuZZia but will take the surrounding region down with it.
