And Kamala is to the left of Biden. What a mess. She's the Squad.

Ultimately, it is the teachers who make policy. Teachers basically emphasize what they like in the classroom. Administrators are primarily interested if you have control of your class and if they are listening to you and being engaged in the lesson. Teachers get their lessons observed twice a year when I taught in the high schools in NYC and in most cases are told in advance when a lesson would be observed. So, quality of education is highly irregular in spite of what the Federal government or Dept. Of Education ordains.

Education happens on a micro level, not on a universal macro level.

The DNC and radical Left have become very authoritarian. If you don't agree with them on an issue, they will look to castrate you and in some instances, destroy you. The Conservatives have become more tolerant and liberal. Liberal means being open to different points of view and not having a rigid, inflexible orientation. Trump is much more open to dialogue and implementing different points of view than the DNC.

I am an individual. I do not like universal macro points of view being imposed on everyone. I give power to individuals to choose. Some students will be better trained in the Arts than the Sciences. When they get to college, they can choose their major, or preference for study.

RM,
Science will fail in its entirety because it is very long term oriented and needs support at a federal level rather than from businesses which want results in 3 months. You lack science, you will lack tech education and Asian command economies will continue to provide all skilled labor.
The problem is that federal support has led to bureaucracy, inefficiency, and poor results.

Ideally you would want to fix said federal support, but some may argue that it's just unfixable, and that education is best left to the states and the local school districts.

By the way, the Chinese government (or the rest of Asia for that matter) hasn't discovered the secret of public education. In fact, WinnXi the PooTin is messing things up there with stupid-ass regulations, all designed to support his nationalistic (and arguably socialistic) goals.
