Re: consensus estimate

I just checked with First Call and the consensus for Q3/Jan98 is $0.19. The three brokers that have estimates are as follows: Volpe Brown - $0.15; First Albany - $0.23; and Cruttenden - $0.18. Volpe Brown revised their estimate down from $0.24 on Feb. 1, while First Albany raised their estimate from $0.21 on Feb. 17. Quite a range of opinions!

I haven't been following ISLI very much, but am interested to see if they can beat estimates and break out to a 52-week high. I might just take a chance on it with my gambling money.

Good luck everyone!
Rich

Gerald (et al)

I, too, have been a large ISLI holder through the periods you mentioned...it's been interesting

The FY which ended 4/31/95 (FY95, I think) was a good one and showed a recovery from the previous FY. ISLI did all it could do to make this FY95 good, there were articles about ISLI's return to health BUT (1) it wasn't continued, (2) poor (and too costly) acquisitions were made, (3) competition increased which resulted in an extremely poor FY96 showing.

FY 97 began as a continuance of FY96 until ISLI brought in (1) a new line management team AND (2) a Strategic Planning Consulting Firm who worked with ISLI senior management to determine who was ISLI, what was ISLI's strengths and what should ISLI focus on and what should ISLI divest itself of.

This year, FY98 is the result...A PROUD RESULT ...ISLI has shown that it can SUBSTANTIALLY grow its business direction (Y2K, ASQ, PVCS), its revenues and profits...

WHAT THE STREET NEEDS TO SEE NOW IS A CONTINUANCE OF THESE EXTREMELY POSITIVE DIRECTIONS.

This quarters results will help continue a POSITIVE view of ISLI, and following quarters will just keep attracting investors and the resultant stock price increases.

So, we wait and see what occurs, IMHO, I am anticipating great attainments.

I thought my thoughts would help !!

So are you happy? Now do we trade it on the possible upcoming bump or hang in there for a while. Not an easy call!
