the kind of guy who would tolerate an "environmentally-friendly" clothes dryer running twice as long and performing worse than a gas-powered clothes dryer because it's "better for the environment."
And that in a nutshell is the entire problem with true believer climatists and greenies. They never consider the consequences.

He's the kind of guy who would tolerate an "environmentally-friendly" clothes dryer running twice as long and performing worse than a gas-powered clothes dryer because it's "better for the environment."

Actually I use a clothesline outside to dry my laundry the vast majority of the time.

Your clothes will last longer. Notice all that lint in your dryer?

It's your clothes shedding fibers as they abrade against each other.

Also use a horizontal axis washing machine.

A fraction the water and detergent use.

Not to mention much easier on stuff you wash.

One full load uses less than 500 Wh.
