I never said all immigrants are bad. But a lot of people have crossed the border illegally and many have come here to study only to chant death to USA. That doesn't seem to bother you in the least, you never mention it. But it bothers me and voters who will vote for Trump in November. And my expectation is that Trump will do something about that. K-12 is all about learning the basics. The stronger students study Calc. I and II in their senior years. The advanced mathematical minds tend to not go into K-12 teaching. They can make much more money in the private sector. The advanced minds in English, History and Foreign languages go into K-12. So, there will always be an imbalance in K-12 quality of teachers gifts. It is not a big deal since college rectifies that imbalance. I'm more partial to the Arts, but I respect and value science and tech.
