I guess CUBE has reached Clintonesque proportions... nobody cares what
it does or doesn't do anymore.

Maybe with this newfound anonymity CUBE will sneak up on everyone and deliver the goods.

NDS To Demo End-to-end Digital Solution
Digital broadcasting provider NDS will tout several products at NAB 98 in Las Vegas, including DTV/DTTV-ATSC/HDTV, MPEG-2 4:2:2 contribution, distribution, DSNG, Digital Conditional Access, data broadcasting, private networks and program distribution for small- and medium-sized broadcasters.

Among other products, the company plans to highlight an end-to-end digital broadcasting solution for ATSC/HDTV with support for HDTV profiles 480p, 720p and 1080i. It will also show a real-time transmission through the end-to-end system which used NDS products such as seamless MPEG splicing and the company's 2U encoder for 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 transmission, 8VSB modulation, 8PSK modulation and NDS Reflex multiplexing. TeraLogic Circuit Offers Low-Cost DTV Receivers
With an eye on low-cost DTV solutions, integrated circuit and software solutions provider TeraLogic Inc., announced Feb. 18 that it plans to offer a family of high-performance, low-cost circuits.

The company said it plans to sell digital television receivers and set-top boxes driven by its technology for less than $400. Working with OEMs, TeraLogic hopes to provide enabling technology for set-tops, advanced TVs and PC-TV convergence products.
