we have a lot of homeless people here too but not to the extent the US has. I think living in a milder climate brings in people from other parts of our countries. I don't know what the solution would be.

“The state has been hard at work to address this crisis on our streets,” Mr. Newsom said in a statement.

Let's sum it up.. What are possible factors when your State has exorbitant housing costs?

1) Strangling mandates, regulations and taxation choking off affordable new development.

2) Hordes of homeless illegal aliens due to open borders and "sanctuary" policies.

3) Rampant drug addiction and crime due to feeble law enforcement and a lenient criminal justice system

4) Sky high cost of living led by the nation's highest fuel and energy prices.

5) Rich coastal liberals who don't give a shit what their Democrat monopoly politics are doing to the State's middle class and less fortunate.

Californium has fucked itself and good luck getting it unfucked. And if Newsom thinks the rest of the country wants what has been done to CA carried into the White House, he's more than a bit delusional..

Wharfie, from the article,
Gov. Gavin Newsom will order California state officials on Thursday to begin dismantling thousands of homeless encampments, according to members of his administration, calling on government leaders to act on a recent Supreme Court decision “with urgency and dignity.”
As I recall, this was a 6-3 decision, and the split was along ideological lines.

In other words, the same Supreme Court that ruled on Trump's "immunity" also gave the green light for cities across America to finally do something about the homeless crisis.

For too long, libtard judges stood in the way of what even Gavin Newsom wanted to do, which was to clear out the homeless encampments and get rid of the urban blight that they bring to our cities. These libtard judges never have to live or work in the same shitholes that many residents of Los Angeles and San Francisco have to live or work in, but they can make their rulings and feel good about themselves as they "protect" the homeless.

In other words, they make their rulings, then go back to their "cribs" in Hillsborough, miles away from the problem.

Thank goodness for the 6-3 Supreme Court. Most of the time, they make good rulings.
