Letitia James asks U.S. Supreme Court not to intervene to help Trump.

New York’s attorney general urged the Supreme Court on Wednesday to stay out of Donald Trump’s hush money criminal case, arguing the nation’s highest court should not grant a novel request by Missouri to pause his sentencing hearing and lift the gag order imposed on the former president in the case.

Earlier this month, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican, asked the Supreme Court for permission to file a complaint against New York to pause Trump’s September sentencing hearing and lift the restrictions on his speech – arguing in part that New York was infringing on the right of Missouri voters to hear from presidential candidates.

Bill,
How did the top generals do with the Afghanistan withdrawal?
Touche.

There were indications that the commanders running the war in Afghanistan during its final years were in severe denial and were feeding overly optimistic information to their higher-ups, including Obama, Trump, and Brandon. The level of denial exhibited by the commanders was only exceeded by PooTin and his "three day" war of choice in Ukraine.

The Washington Post, a.k.a. Democracy Dies Behind Paywalls, had a really good article exposing this. I don't feel like digging up the link, but I was quite surprised that this article did not create any significant waves.

The result was the disastrous pullout that we all witnessed.

Did any heads roll as a result of the disaster? Nope.

Instead, the Brandon gaslighting machine went into full gear, telling us that the FUBAR withdrawal from Afghanistan was all according to plan, and that if anyone was to blame for how badly it went, it's Trump.
