>>I'm surprised you think that joking gets one a pass, that privacy gets one a pass. You do know what character is, don't you?

Many people disapprove of men who are womanizers, which Trump certainly is. But we have historically given a pass to such men who became president. That, to me, is an indicator of character. The kind of jokes they tell has no weight with me.

One of the finest men I ever knew loved telling dirty jokes.. I was in Jr High school my friend and I worked for my dad and when this fellow came to make a sales call he had us rolling on the floor with nasty jokes. Later I came to understand and know him before he died and will say i realized just how great he was. The jokes were, if anything, a great memory of a great man.

My metric is accomplishment. You would be. Enter off judging Trump's character by the achievement of the Abraham Accords, which afaik you have never even mentioned.

So he seems to think that "character" is all about a public persona and surface appearance?
