If you take the time (not long) to read them both, you'll note both the similarities and differences between them. Some of it is dumb, like 2025's proposal to outlaw porn (dream on, LOL) or Trump's idea to execute drug dealers. But much of both, especially regarding economic issues and big government, makes sense.
Yes, there is a lot in Project 2025 that makes sense. I'm actually glad there is a blueprint for achieving some of those sensible goals.

And like you said, there are some stupid-ass proposals in Project 2025.

The Trump campaign will do well to do a deep dive into Project 2025, take parts of it that make sense (and will appeal to more than just the MAGA crowd), and reassure voters that the more controversial parts will never see the light of day.

But that would take a measure of intelligent nuance among the Trump campaign strategists that, quite frankly, seems to be lacking.

We'll see. I like to watch this campaign as if I'm watching a strategy game.
