I think it would've been a lot of fun if mine were in the same age group, but they're not. Our age group is 14 & under, but all my girls are 13 yr olds, you know, underdogs at Nationals. Really brings out the fight in em, goin against all those bigger teams. Works sometimes, too. My kid's the pitcher, and when she was 9 we came in second, at Garland, Tx. At 10, second again in Broken Arrow, Okla. 11 & 12, fourth, and fourth, at Midland, Tx. Gets tougher every yr. Now she's a teenager, so who knows? 13 could be her lucky #. <gg> I bet ol Steve knows about being the underdog. Yep. I bet he does. Blackie
