There's no video clip in your Reuters link, just text

You don't need to see his lips move. There's an audio clip. I've heard it on TV more than once. It's paused on my TV screen right now.

You're childishly pretending you didn't watch this video.

That's absurd. I mentioned several times that he may have said he wasn't Christian. I've heard him say that. The point is that he said he was Christian at the Turning Point Action meeting. Whether he said otherwise at other times is irrelevant. Whether he is or isn't a Christian is irrelevant to the point on the table, which is what he said this time. You're the one being childish digging your heels in, despite all evidence, and in insisting that he didn't say it this one time. I don't get why it matters to you given that a guy who lies so much in this case said one thing one time and something contradictory another time. Why go to the mats on this one?

Trump is telling the devout Christians that reluctantly vote for him despite his unreligious ways that they won't have to hold their nose and vote for him after this election

Yes, I get that. It has been his message from the jump that, despite his unChristian ways, he's supporting them.

(because he is term limited)

That's your speculation and it's not a logical hypothesis. He would have four years to give them what they want. But unless he makes something happen that is permanent, that support will be gone in four years and they will have to vote again for someone else who supports them if they want to retain what they got from him. Now, what can he do that would be permanent without undoing the very fabric of our system? There are some persistent things but nothing permanent.

The only less awful explanation I can think of is that his narcissistic self doesn't really care about them and what they want. He just wants their votes one more time. Since he wouldn't be running again in four years either because he would be term limited or because he has become a dictator and we no longer have elections so they won't need to bother voting. That hypothesis fits what I know of him. And does not threaten the Constitution.

And, you think that's a positive point you/Trump made?
