With more EV vehicles on the road there are two ways that oil could go - Jack up the price to scrape more profits (and encourage more people to switch to EV) or lower the price of oil.... They are greedy busturds - no telling what will happen with the price of oil. One thing for sure , oil companies are pushing plastics and so called edible oil products. Poison the air, poison the body - not sure either is ethical, and there are few options...... yet.
