That guy is an outlier in the academic community, that only the right wing quotes all the time to back up there nonsense. A way to confirm that, is that only 6% of scientists are Republicans, and the majority are liberals (PEW poll). How can a scientist be a Republican when Republicans don't believe in settle science like the 2020 election was not stolen and global warming and evolution are real? So do we believe one guy, or a statistical average of a group of our smartest people, scientists. We on the left post facts and reason. And we check each other. I have never seen liberals run away from facts. I don't. On the right they post dogmatic nonsense and then back it up by tribal agreement e.g. the MAGA say the 2020 election was stolen, global warming and evolution is not real.
