Glad Kennedy called him out. But I don't like his line of questioning. Wouldn't a better followup question be "Why would the directer of the FBI say something like that? What would be the motive?" The pols are actors trying to convince us they are something they are not. Their votes are more revealing but often they will vote for or against something because it is safe. Safe meaning their vote is meaningless but leaves an audit trail of supposed support / opposition than enhances their score.
